The soil at Rob Buck’s vineyard where these grapes are grown is ancient volcanic, red-brown loam. The grapes were allowed to achieve full maturity and the wine shows the intensity and palate richness which has made this area famous. This wine has exceptional aging potential, it can be enjoyed now or cellared for 15 years.
